INTRODUCTION OF GEOMETRIC CHESS
Geometric chess ( short name : G - Chess ; Brand name: IQmax Chess; author: Do Duc Luong ) is a game of intellectual opposition for two players; When playing chess, the player needs to use simple geometric knowledge to choose smart moves in order to sort the chess pieces into basic geometric shapes and find the chance to score.
The geometric chess has two versions, standard and simple geometric chess. The standard geometric chess is suitable for ages 8+ and the simple geometric chess is for children at the age of 6 or more to play.
At school age, geometric chess is a typical product of the trend of PLAYING-LEARNING; With adults, the geometric chess is an interesting and attractive intellectual sport. Playing geometric chess helps people develop their creative potential, enhance the ability to think logically and express the power of the imagination.
The geometric chess board is for two players, one on each side is with different colored chess pieces. Two sides rotate each move and they use their chess pieces. Initially, two sides draw or give each other the chance to go ahead, if they play more games, from the second game onwards, the loser first goes.

Each small square on the chessboard has a point called the center of the square, the center of the square is the intersection of two diagonals. To understand the geometric chess (especially the standard geometric chess) and apply well in the competition, the chess players need to know more about the concept of backbone on the chessboard.
* The straight section connecting the center of the squares on a vertical column is called the vertical axis, the chessboard has all nine vertical axes.
* The straight line connecting the center of the squares on a horizontal row is called the horizontal axis, the chessboard has all nine horizontal axes.
* The straight line connects the center of the squares on a diagonal row called the diagonal axis, the chess board has all 30 diagonal axes.
Each side has 9 chess pieces for the competition, can use white - black or red - black ... to distinguish the color of the chess pieces on both sides. Each chess piece is round, cylindrical body, compact size made of wood, plastic .... In addition to nine chess pieces for playing, each side also has one additional chess piece to recognize the score for each side in the competition process.
The chess set consists of two types for standard chess pieces and simple chess pieces. It is also possible to combine both types of chess on a set of pieces. Then two sides of the chess pieces are used for two different purposes; one side has symbols for the standard geometric chess and the other side has symbols for the simple geometric chess pieces. Thus, only one set of chess pieces is used for both the standard and simple geometric chess pieces.
In the geometric chess (standard and simple geometric chess), there is no distinction of how to move chess pieces. On a chessboard, each piece can be moved horizontally, vertically, diagonally across small squares, and without limiting the number of squares that can be moved to the condition that are empty. If any square has a chess piece there, other chess pieces can not be moved past it. We find that each chess piece in the geometric chess can be moved like a Queen piece in chess. Figures 1.3 & 1.4 illustrate how to move the chess pieces.

It is supposed there are any chess pieces on two sides marked from 1 to 9 arranged on the chessboard as shown in Figures 1.3 & 1.4. If the person holding red pieces wants to move the piece "5", this piece can be moved to one of the squares marked "green dot" on the chessboard.
* In the geometric chess, there is no case that this piece on this side can keep up with the piece on another side, only the score is gained for each side when they reach a goal as given.
The goal of the chess player is to make clever moves to arrange chess pieces into simple geometric shapes such as straight lines, triangles, squares, circles for scoring.
* In addition to finding the way of scoring, chess players also need to calculate the appropriate moves to limit the opponent in scoring.
